The Memoir
Your first paper, a memoir, is due Friday, 8/21 (rough draft.) We’ll be talking about description a lot. The focus of this writing must be descriptive, not narrative. Show; don’t tell. Use similes, metaphors, personification, and other figurative language. Turn in the final copy in correct format on or before the due date as no late papers will be accepted for full credit.
