You will be graded according to mastery of the Georgia performance standards for 9th grade.   Grades will fall into the following categories and percentages for each:

·        Reading Literature and Reading Across the Curriculum (40%)

·        Writing and Conventions (35%)

·        Listening, Speaking, and Viewing (10%)

·        End of Course Test (15%)

Within each category there will be many formative assessments to see what you need to work on to pass the summative assessments.  Formative assessments count approximately 20% of the overall grade; summative, 80%.
