Monday:  You’ll be presenting Powerpoint presentations about The Odyssey part 1.  Then we’ll start reading Part 2.

Tuesday:  Animal Farm chapters 6-10 quiz.  Also due is the assignment #2, Propaganda in Animal Farm.

Wednesday:  We finish The Odyssey.

Thursday:  no class

Friday:  final evaluation:  You will be writing an essay about Odysseus as an epic hero.  You may use notes you took on the handout on The Odyssey.  Also, you will be looking over papers and journals you wrote this semester and completing a reflection and evaluation assignment.

Monday–  EOCT.  Some students will be finishing the EOCT; the others will be reading Animal Farm and completing the handout ”Comparing Animal Farm to the Russian Revolution.”

Assignment #1 is due.  Students will be presenting on propaganda in the media.

Tuesday– Animal Farm quiz,  Chapters 1-5.

We’ll start reading The Odyssey in class. We’ll be reading this in class the remainder of the week.

Wednesday– Poetry Notebook is due.  We’ll have a “Coffee House” complete with poetry readings.
